PDC World Darts Championship 2024: Results, draw, full schedule today, how to watch and latest odds
The 2024 World Darts Championship is underway at Alexandra Palace.
The sport's biggest event pits 96 players against each other for the Sid Waddell Trophy and £2.5million in prize money.
Last year's final saw Michael Smith finally claim the sport's biggest prize after years of near-misses, beating great Michael van Gerwen in one of the most thrilling matches in history.
Smith kicked off the action this year when he came through a cracker with Kevin Doets. Facing elimination at the hands of Dutch unknown Doets on opening night, Bully Boy fought back from 2-1 down to secure his spot in round three.
Van Gerwen is back and looking to claim a fourth crown, while Luke Humphries made easy work of his first test on Sunday evening.
The biggest shock of the tournament so far came on Wednesday night, when two-time champion and fourth seed Peter 'Snakebite' Wright was thrashed by world No47 Jim Williams in the second round.
Day six belonged to 16-year-old Luke Littler, who made it through on his debut after beating Christian Kist 3-0, and he backed it up on Thursday with a routine win over Andrew Gilding. Earlier in the day, Rob Cross was a long was off his best but did enough to ease into the third round.
